چکیده
The present investigation Comprises 34 advanced breeding lines including checks of bread wheat and experiment was conducted in a complete randomized block design with three replications at the research farm department genetics plant breeding, RVSKVV, B.M. College Agriculture, Khandwa during Rabi season (November 2021 to April 2022) for estimation multivariate analysis divergence. were grouped into seven clusters. Cluster III contained highest number lines(12) clusters V, VI, VII lowest (1 each). inter-cluster distance most cases larger than intra cluster which indicated that wider diversity is among distant grouped. observed IV revealed maximum genetic divergence its constituents. found between VI V VI. Highest mean exhibited agro-morphological traits i.e. tillers/plant, spike length, weight, grain/spike followed by II grain filling period, days maturity height. On basis analysis, percent contribution towards maturity, grain/spike, 50% flowering, biological yield per harvest index. Such differences component studied manuscript can be applied as source variation other programmes crossing nurseries improvement.

Genetic Heritability for Grain Yield and Its Related Characters in Spring Wheat (triticum Aestivum L.)
Seven F3 progenies and their 8 parental lines of spring wheat were evaluated for some genetic parameters viz., coefficient of variability (Cv), genetic variance (Vg), heritability percentage (h %) and genetic advance (GA) in 7 quantitative characters (grain yield and its associated traits). Highly significant (p≤0.01) differences were observed for all the characters viz. plant height, number of...
متن کاملDistribution of gluten proteins in bread wheat (Triticum aestivum) grain.
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Gluten proteins are the major storage protein fraction in the mature wheat grain. They are restricted to the starchy endosperm, which forms white flour on milling, and interact during grain development to form large polymers which form a continuous proteinaceous network when flour is mixed with water to give dough. This network confers viscosity and elasticity to the dough, ...
متن کاملEffect of salinity on wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) grain yield, yield components and ion uptake
Crops growing in salt-affected soils may suffer from physiological drought stress, ion toxicity, and mineral deficiency. A pot study was conducted in 2004-2005 in the Aghala area (northern Iran) to study the effect of different salinity levels, i.e. ECe= 3 (control), 8, 12 and 16 dS m-1 on wheat grain, yield components and leaf ion uptake of four Iranian wheat genotypes, i.e. Kouhdasht, Atrak, ...
متن کاملGenetic Analysis of Grain Yield and Yield Components in Bread Wheat using Hayman's Diallel Method
Extended Abstract Introduction and Objective: By progeny trial after a diallel crossing, the function of genes and inheritance of quantitative traits can be estimated. This increases the ability to select parental lines, to participate in crosses, and determines the management of generations in the segregating populations. Material and Methods: In order to understand the genetic structure of ...
متن کاملGenetic analysis of plant height and its components in diallel crosses of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)
An incomplete diallel cross study comprising of seven bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars was carried out with parents and F1 progeny to determine heterosis, combining ability, gene action, and correlations for plant height and its components. The results showed that heterosis and heterobeltiosis occurred in plant height, spike length, peduncle length, length of the second internode fr...
